Dave Baker
Candidate, Marathon County
Tony Sherfinski represented Marathon County Board District 16 from 2022–2024. A mechanical engineer with a master’s in management, he worked as operations manager at Northern Valley Industries while on the board.
He ran on fiscal conservatism and refocusing county government on core services— infrastructure, public safety, and elder care. He served on the Environmental Resources Sub-Committee and helped advance renewable natural gas at the county landfill. A longtime Schofield resident who raised his family in Marathon County, he has strong community ties.
Sherfinski lost his 2024 reelection by one vote (255–254). He announced a 2026 bid for the county board and retained The Bluejack Group to assist.
