Tony Sherfinski
Tony Sherfinski served on the Marathon County Board of Supervisors representing District 16 from 2022 to 2024. A mechanical engineer with a master's degree in management, he worked as an operations manager at Northern Valley Industries while serving on the board.
Sherfinski ran on a platform of fiscal conservatism and refocusing county government on core services like infrastructure, public safety, and elder care. During his tenure, he served on the Environmental Resources Sub-Committee, contributing to renewable natural gas development at the county landfill. A longtime Schofield resident who raised his family in Marathon County, he brought strong community ties to his role.
His time on the board ended following a remarkably close April 2024 election, where he lost his reelection bid to challenger Bill Conway by a single vote—255 to 254. He announced his candidacy in 2026 to run for Marathon County board again & brought on The Bluejack Group to help him accomplish that.
